Have you ever thought wouldn't it be a good idea to drive that car a third
of the way around the world?
I THOUGHT NOT!!
WELL...................
The idea of the
Mongol Rally is to get from London (Hyde Park) to Mongolia
(Ulaanbaatar) in a car
with an engine that has less BHP than a hamster in it's wheel (a 1000cc or less). The mileage can range
from 9000 to 12000 miles depending on the route chosen.......O'yeah and
there's no support and you have 4 weeks to complete it! All in the aid of
charity of course!
Once/if the end is reached the car will be auctioned off for Charity too.
The Rally is not all about the adventure, it has a serious side of raising
money for charity. All 200 teams that enter have to raise a £1000 or more.
